On Nov. 23, 2020, Dr. Yao Jun published 'Synaptotagmin-7 deficiency induces mania-like behavioral abnormalities through attenuating GluN2B activity' in PNAS. In this paper, the authors reported their findings in the mechanism underlying the induction of mania in bipolar disorder (BD), which is a neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by intermittent episodes of mania and depression.
